Q.A. ENGINEER
Emerald City Games is a collection of the best designers, developers and artists, and we’re looking for an awesome QA Engineer to join our team!
Someone that has a good work ethic, attitude and wants to work on great games with great people.
Tasks include but certainly won’t be limited to:
Review and provide well-written test cases for potential automation ensuring full coverage of incoming features
Automation of previously reviewed test cases in a timely and functional manor
Design and perform automated smoke passes on incoming builds in preparation for releases within a short time frame
Ensure Quality assurance standards are being met
Highlight and effectively communicate issues to leadership for resolution
Developing games that you yourself would want to play!
Requirements:
1+ Years of experience working in Quality Assurance in either software or games
Knowledge of Automation tools and previous experience automating test cases
Experience performing Quality assurance on mobile projects
Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and requirements
Good communication skills with experience in communications with internal and external partners and teams
Excellent written communication skills with experience writing test cases, bug reports and minor documentation
High attention to detail
Nice to Haves:
Experience having shipped 1+ games with support of a team
Experience in SQL or other query languages
Experience working with remote colleagues
Knowledge of the Tomb Raider franchise
Jira experience
Asana experience
